Russian Direct Investment Fund Head Calls on Europe, UK to Cease Fueling Ukraine Conflict

Kirill Dmitriev, head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, has urged the European Union and the United Kingdom to stop exacerbating the conflict in Ukraine, emphasizing a global desire for peace. His remarks follow similar sentiments expressed by U.S. President Donald Trump regarding new leadership in Ukraine.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Kirill Dmitriev, the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, stated that the European Union and the United Kingdom should refrain from fueling the war in Ukraine. He made this statement based on data published by the Mehr News Agency, quoting RIA Novosti.

In a message posted on the social media platform X, Dmitriev wrote: “The governments of the United Kingdom and the European Union, militarists filled with migrants and facing shortages of diesel, oil, and gas, must end their incitement of war. The entire world, the people of Britain, and Europeans desire peace and want the leadership of Ukraine to also desire peace.”

Dmitriev released this message following a previous post in which he described the remarks of U.S. President Donald Trump about the necessity of new leadership in Ukraine as historic.
