US Official Warns of Ukraine War Expansion, Advocates for Talks

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken stated on Tuesday that there is a genuine risk of the conflict in Ukraine intensifying and expanding into other areas. Speaking to reporters in India, Blinken underscored the importance of resolving the war through negotiation and indicated that Washington is actively working to facilitate an agreement between the involved parties.

Blinken further suggested that dialogue between the leaders of the United States, Russia, and China on arms control could represent a positive development for the entire world. However, he noted that it remains uncertain whether Beijing is prepared to engage in such negotiations.

Earlier, in September, U.S. President Donald Trump had also called for trilateral talks on arms control involving Russia and China.
