French President Macron Arrives in Qatar for Official Visit

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, French President Emmanuel Macron has arrived in Doha for an official visit. He was welcomed at Hamad International Airport by Sheikh Saud bin Abdulrahman bin Hassan Al Thani, the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs of Qatar, along with his accompanying delegation.

Also present at the welcoming ceremony were Sheikh Ali bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar’s Ambassador to France, and Arnaud Pouteau, the French Ambassador to Doha. This visit marks the final leg of Macron’s tour of Persian Gulf countries. The trip proceeds as France is experiencing widespread public protests.
