Air raid sirens have sounded in southern Saudi Arabia as regional tensions escalate, with Yemeni military officials warning that critical oil facilities remain within range of armed forces.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Saudi media reported that warning sirens were activated in the southern areas of Khamis Mushait and Abha following a cross-border attack originating from Yemen.

In a separate development, a Yemeni military official told the Saba news agency that Saudi Arabia‘s Aramco oil facilities are currently within the striking range of Yemeni armed forces, describing ongoing economic and investment activities at the site as a high-risk and adventurous undertaking. The military official also issued a warning to international airlines regarding the use of Saudi airspace, excluding the airspace over Mecca and Medina.

Meanwhile, Saudi military forces subjected residential areas in the Al-Dhahir district of the border province of Saada to artillery fire, while the Haydan area in Saada was targeted by missile strikes. Additionally, a Yemeni civilian sustained injuries due to gunfire from Saudi forces in the border region of Shada.

Local sources reported that the vital transportation route connecting Lahij and Taiz, located in the Korba area of Al-Maqatrah, came under aerial bombardment by the Saudi-led coalition, resulting in the road’s closure and significant damage to nearby residential homes.
