Russian Air Defense Intercepts and Destroys 142 Ukrainian Drones

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, …
The Russian Ministry of Defense announced that its air defense units successfully identified, intercepted, and shot down 142 Ukrainian drones during overnight operations across multiple regions of the Russian Federation. The neutralized unmanned aerial vehicles were tracked over Moscow, Rostov, the Republic of Crimea, and the waters of the Sea of Azov.
Previously, on Saturday, November 7, the military agency reported the destruction of 411 Ukrainian drones over the course of a single night. Those aerial targets had similarly been downed by air defense systems across various territories within Russia, the Crimean Peninsula, and the waters of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov.
Tensions and the ongoing conflict between Kyiv and Moscow have reached new dimensions, with both sides intensifying reciprocal missile and drone strikes. These persistent hostilities continue despite earlier claims by United States President Donald Trump that he could end the war in less than 24 hours—a promise that faces severe challenges amid the continuation of the war into the second year of his presidency.
