British and Japanese round table on the sidelines of the Doha meeting on Afghan women’s issues

According to the regional office of Tasnim News Agency, the British Embassy in Afghanistan announced the visit of the charge d’affaires of this embassy. He communicated with the Japanese authorities about human rights issues in Afghanistan.
The British Embassy clarified in this statement that the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan are not negotiable and this country will not fail in this issue.
The statement added: England and Japan held a roundtable on women, peace and security in Afghanistan to discuss and exchange opinions on measures that can be taken to support women and girls in Afghanistan.
The round table was held on the sidelines of the Doha meeting, while the Western authorities have always made the recognition of the Taliban government conditional on human rights issues. On the other hand, the Taliban, while rejecting the human rights accusations of the Western authorities, emphasize that the Westerners are not aware of this issue. They use it as a pressure tool.
Amir Khan Moqti, the foreign minister of the Taliban government, had previously announced that Western countries have a double approach to human rights issues. He emphasized why Westerners do not say anything about the actions of the Israeli regime.
