report Mehr News quoted by Al-Khalij Online, the Emir of Kuwait Meshaal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah arrived in Doha, the capital of Qatar, at noon today, Tuesday (February 20).
Qatar news agency announced that Qatari Emir Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani welcomed his Kuwaiti counterpart at Hamad International Airport.
Also, 6 planes of the Qatar Air Force accompanied the Sabah plane.
Kuwaiti sources announced that this trip is aimed at strengthening historical relations between the two countries.
Before this, Kuwait news agency announced that the Emir of this country has left for Qatar.
This is the first trip of Mashal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, to Qatar after being elected as the Emir of Kuwait.
