Russia put the American senator on the list of “terrorists”.
Russian media announced that the country's government has put the American senator, who is one of the main supporters of Ukraine, on the list of "terrorists and extremists". |
reported by Mehr News Agency quoted by Ryanovsi, the Federal Financial Supervisory Organization of Russia has put “Lindsey Graham” the hard-line and warmongering US senator on the list of “terrorists and extremists” of Russia.
In June, the Ministry of Interior of Russia added Lindsay Graham to the list of wanted persons.
This Republican American senator was put on the wanted list of Russia after a video of him was released, which, while strongly supporting the Ukrainian government, emphasized that the financial and military aid of the United States to the government and Ukraine’s military is America’s “most successful” waste of money
In part of a video released by Andriy Yermak, the chief of staff of the President of Ukraine, Graham can be heard saying: Russians are being killed… this It’s the best place we (America) have ever spent.
“Disgusting” and “disgusting” are just some of the reactions that the users of cyberspace had to this video published by the Republican senator of South Carolina. Some other users also reacted to Graham’s statement and wrote that this is “the true face of American politics.”
Another user called Graham a “warmonger” and described such words as “very worrying” from a senator stationed in the US Congress. In response, some others raised the question, “If Russia spoke these words about American citizens, then how would Washington react?”
This is Graham’s third visit to Kiev since the start of Russian military operations in Ukraine in February 2022. This time, after returning from Kiev, he asked the White House to intensify the delivery of weapons to Ukraine and said:
“Some weapons are important and we have been very slow in providing these important weapons to the Ukrainian army. My message to the Biden administration is this; I appreciate what you’ve done so far, but you need to do more.”
Western countries have always provided military and financial aid to Kiev since the beginning of Russian military operations. These aids in 2022 included artillery and military training, and this year it has changed to heavy weapons, including tanks. Washington recently gave its allies the green light to send F-16 fighters to Ukraine.
Moscow has always emphasized that these measures only lead to the escalation of tension and the igniting of war and will not change its fate.
