U.S. Treasury Sanctions Iran’s Regional Supporters

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the U.S. Treasury Department has imposed new sanctions on a number of individuals and entities that Washington claims support Iran-aligned groups in the region. Among those sanctioned are several Iraqi businessmen and economic activists.

The U.S. Treasury Department has recently implemented a new wave of sanctions against Iran and Iran-related entities as part of an initiative known as “Operation Economic Exclusion.”
