According to the agreement signed in 2009 between the two countries, this project was supposed to be completed by December 2014 to be completed and the two countries were required to build the necessary pipeline on their soil.
According to the Pakistani authorities, according to this program, the 81-kilometer pipeline will connect Gwadar to the “Iran-Pakistan” (IP) pipeline project, and initially gas will be used in Gwadar.
Iran has already extended Pakistan’s deadline to complete this pipeline until September 2024, and if the Islamabad authorities fail to complete this project by this time, it should be sent to Iran 18 to pay a billion dollars in compensation. He said about the compensation: We have asked Iran to stop pursuing its legal claims and putting pressure on Pakistan.
