America claims human rights and supports genocide

A Hong Kong expert said today's human rights claimants are the same American politicians who armed Israel to carry out the most brutal attacks against Gaza.

America once again vetoed the cease-fire resolution in Gaza and practically gave the Zionist regime a green light to continue attacks on Gaza. At this time, this regime is once again subjecting Rafah to its brutal attacks and has killed a large number of people in this region alone in recent days. Many experts these days believe that the United States, as one of the main accomplices of the Zionist regime in the genocide of the people of Gaza, should be condemned and punished in international circles. Is.

For this purpose, in order to further analyze America’s relations with Israel, the Young Journalists Club has arranged an interview with Alex Lu, an expert and analyst from Hong Kong, which is explained below.

– After four months have passed since the beginning of Israel’s attacks against Gaza, how do you analyze this war?

Alex Lowe: Sometimes I wonder if the politicians in Washington aren’t anthropomorphic beings pre-programmed by some alien race to wreak havoc on Earth. Being real human beings, it is hard for them to be so devoid of basic decency, to feel shame or at least shame. Needless to say, they have metaphorical and literal blood on their hands, a terrible amount of blood spilled by US-made weapons of mass destruction deliberately placed in the hands of a genocidal ally.

The terrible irony these days is that the US House of Representatives has passed legislation to protect Tibetans and Uyghurs in China from human rights abuses. These are the same American politicians who arm Israel to carry out the worst and cruelest attacks against Palestinian Muslims.

One of the bills would establish an ostensibly human rights law “for Uyghur issues” at the US State Department. Most people around the world think it is much more necessary to address the “Palestinian issues”, such as the daily killings against them.

These three bills were sponsored by California Republican Rep. Kim Young and Democrats Jim McGovern and Gregory Meeks. These are the ones who, like most of their colleagues in Congress, shouted loudly about “standing with Israel to defend itself against the brutal war waged by Hamas and other terrorists,” the same resolution that Congress overwhelmingly passed. approved decisively and declared it a law. The same legislature that voted to send weapons to Israel even before Israel’s request.

Sometimes you really have to wonder if Israel is the US client in the West Asia, or rather the US is Israel’s client in North America.

شهدای غزه

Since October 7, about 29,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israel in Gaza and more than 67,780 have been injured, most of them women and children. Countless children have been maimed for life, but there are even mainstream news articles – which have been fully complicit in oppressing the Palestinian people for decades – quoting US politicians who have warned that Israeli military operations could harden the next generation of Hamas fighters. slow.

There is a cruel and inhuman logic to Israel’s infliction of high casualties on Palestinian children – fearing for their future as the people who are going to stand up to oppression this time around.

– America justifies these brutal attacks by claiming that it is defending itself, what do you think about this?

Alex Lu: Kim’s bill authorizes new action to protect China’s Uyghur population from human rights abuses. McGovern is amending the Tibet Policy Act of 2002, which is the basis for much US policy on Tibet, to counter China’s misinformation about the autonomous region. At least you know that China’s media is controlled by the government, while US state media pretend to be independent and objective, but are actually more insidious and dangerous than they appear.

It is Israel’s right to defend itself, which, according to former US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo during a recent visit to Israel, also makes the world safer from terrorism. This is the man who ignored the expert opinions of his State Department lawyers and insisted on declaring China as a perpetrator of genocide in Xinjiang in the last days of his presidency.

My opinion is that these medieval behaviors of these genocides that we witness today in the silence of human societies are all derived from a terrible colonial policy that is rooted in the animal nature of politicians. No law or secretary can justify or cover up the behavior of these days.

شهدای حملات اسرائیل به غزه

-What is our duty?

In Gaza and other conflict zones, world leaders seem to choose which civilians to protect and which to leave to their own fate, based on existing policies and alliances. This is unacceptable.

World leaders must urgently review their behavior because they are failing to uphold basic human values - such as human rights, freedom and equality for all. When world leaders act contrary to the values they claim to embody and defend, world citizens begin to question the integrity of the international legal system. When a rights-based system applies only to some, double standards are reinforced and impunity spreads.
