Zionist Minister: The full return of residents of northern Gaza is possible only with the release of Israeli prisoners

“Yaouv Galant”, Minister of War of the Zionist regime, said this Monday that the position of the security institutions of this regime is that the complete return of civilians to the north of the Gaza Strip is only after the return of all the Zionist prisoners to Hamas. It will be possible.

He emphasized that the Israeli army will continue its war in Gaza, which started 143 days ago, even if it is forced to temporarily cease fire.

The Ministry of War of the Zionist regime announced in a statement that Gallant, in a meeting with the representatives of the families of the Zionist prisoners, claimed that he is committed to the release of all the Zionist prisoners and that the war with Hamas in the Gaza Strip will not stop as long as these prisoners are in the hands of Hamas.

According to SAMA news agency, the Minister of War of the Zionist regime addressed “various efforts to return the prisoners, especially the political efforts to advance a plan that enables the return of the prisoners”. He further claimed: “Within the framework of the negotiations, we are trying to maintain the levers of pressure on Hamas.”

Gallant added: The position of the security establishment will be clear: the full return of the residents of the northern Gaza Strip is possible only when all the hostages are returned.

He claimed: “Even if we reach a plan that leads to the establishment of a temporary ceasefire, we will still return to war to destroy Hamas and free all prisoners”.
