Haniyeh: Maidan and negotiation are two parallel lines

The head of the political office of Hamas emphasized that the negotiating team of this movement will enter into negotiations relying on the strength of the resistance.

Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas political office, said that Maidan and negotiations are two parallel lines.

According to Al Quds al-Arabi report, this was published in Haniyeh’s press release on Telegram. He asked the American government to make more efforts to stop the genocidal war and the famine policy that the Gaza Strip is under.

He added: The position of US President Joe Biden in rhetoric is changing and is being tested.

Haniyeh emphasized: The American government is obliged to take many measures to stop the war of genocide and the policy of famine that our people in Gaza and its north are exposed to.

As a result of the war and the restrictions of the occupation, the residents of Gaza, especially in the north, are on the brink of famine with a severe lack of food, water, medicine and fuel, and about two million Palestinians from the strip that has been surrounded by Israeli occupation forces for 17 years. .

Haniyeh noted: Maidan and negotiation are two parallel lines, and the movement bases its negotiations on the greatness of stability and genius of resistance.

He stressed that this movement is seeking to end the aggressive war against the Palestinian people with all its might, and if the occupying government stops its inconsistency, there is an opportunity to reach a multi-stage agreement.

The head of the political office of the Hamas movement had previously announced that regarding the process of the ceasefire negotiations and the demands of the Palestinian side in these negotiations, he said that Hamas would not be satisfied with anything less than “a complete cessation of aggression” and “the lifting of the oppressive siege”.
