Danish fighters go to Argentina instead of Ukraine

Denmark will sell its 24 F-16 fighters worth 300 million dollars to Argentina after receiving approval from the United States.
On Tuesday, Danish Defense Minister Trolls Lund met with his Argentinian counterpart Luis Petrie in Buenos Aires and signed the contract for the sale of these fighters.
Bloomberg wrote that this country, located in the Nordic region of Europe, had already donated 19 F-16 fighter planes to Ukraine and is going to replace its current air fleet with F-35 fighters. However, the delivery of the new fighters to Copenhagen has been delayed due to technological obstacles at the American Lockheed Martin company.
The Minister of Defense of Denmark said that the delivery of F-16s to Argentina is expected to be done in the “coming years” and that the contract was signed with the “close coordination” of the United States.
Contrary to the implementation of economic austerity policies by the government of “Eastern Militia” in Argentina, but he emphasized that he intends to strengthen the country’s defense capabilities.
