More than half of Americans reject the war on Gaza
An American poll shows a significant drop in support for the Gaza war among American parties. |
A survey conducted by the American Gallup Foundation showed that the majority of people in America reject the ongoing war in the Gaza Strip.
According to the Al-Mayadeen report, the results published on Wednesday showed that the percentage of support for the military attacks of the Zionist regime in Gaza dropped to 36% as the war entered its sixth month, while the percentage of support for the war in the second month, i.e. November 2023, it was 50%.
The results of the survey conducted from March 1 to 20 (this month) showed that 55 percent of Americans are dissatisfied with the actions of the Zionist regime.
It is worth mentioning that this survey was completed before the United Nations Security Council resolution was issued on the 25th of this month regarding the ceasefire in Ramadan. This survey also showed that the main party in America is less supportive of the behavior of the Zionist regime in Gaza compared to what they were in November.
The Gallup poll explained that the percentage of decline among the Democratic Party and independents was 18 percent and among the Republican Party was 7 percent.
Furthermore, the results showed that 75% of the Democrats opposed the Gaza war, and the independents reported a difference of opinion in their views on the military attacks of the Zionist regime on Gaza.
The support of the Zionist regime’s military attacks on Gaza in the Republican Party, after reaching 71% a few months ago, has now decreased to 64%.
