Najib Mikati condemned the attack on the UN peacekeeping forces in this country. |
The wave of brutality of the Zionist regime since October 7th is not limited only to the positions of the defenseless Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip. During this period, Tel Aviv has also bombed civilian areas in Lebanon and Syria, causing human and financial losses. The most recent case of such atrocities goes back to the attack on the peacekeeping forces in Lebanon known as UNIFIL.
According to Al Jazeera, Lebanese Prime Minister Najib Mikati condemned the attack on UNIFIL forces in the south of this country today (Saturday).
Nahar newspaper wrote about this: Miqati has expressed his solidarity with UNIFIL by issuing a statement and expressed regret that the UN forces were targeted in this country by the Zionist regime.
During the Zionist regime’s air attack on a UNIFIL patrol in southern Lebanon, 3 international forces and a Lebanese translator were injured.
Although the Lebanese authorities and media have pointed the finger of accusation towards the Zionist regime, but the Zionist authorities claimed that this regime was not at the heart of this attack.
Earlier, Zionist forces killed and wounded journalists in southern Lebanon with tank fire, which, despite Tel Aviv’s denial, an international investigation confirmed that this attack was intentional by Israel.
