The deputy representative of Russia to the United Nations announced that the emergency meeting of the United Nations Security Council regarding Israel’s attack on the Iranian consulate in Syria will be held tomorrow, Tuesday, local time (New York).

“Dmitry Poliansky”, the Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the United Nations, said on Monday night local time that after the Israeli air attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus, the capital of Syria, Iran sent a letter to the United Nations Security Council to condemn this action.

The deputy representative of Russia stated: Following Iran’s letter, we have requested a public briefing session of the UN Security Council; This meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 2nd at 15:00 New York time.
