Ukraine’s regime change is coming

In an article, the former senior American government official warned Ukraine's western allies that, contrary to the dream they had of achieving their alleged "regime change" in Russia by fueling the war in Ukraine, they should wait for this "regime change" to happen in Ukraine itself. .

Stephen Brien, the former chief director of the Near East Subcommittee, which is a subsidiary of the US Senate Foreign Relations Committee, and the former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Policy Affairs, in an article published in the “Asia” database. Times” published, writes: “Washington eagerly hoped to bring about a regime change in Russia. Now, however, regime change seems more likely not in Russia but in Kiev. The recent bloody battle over the city of Avdiyoka, which has now ended, is the catalyst for this regime change in Kiev.”

This former American government official, giving a description of the recent Russian battle over the city of Avdiyoka, which was finally able to capture it and remove it from the control of Ukraine, wrote: “The recent battle on Avdiyoka began four months ago. By January, however, the Russians began to wear down the Ukrainian forces trying to hold the city. In order to capture this city, Russia organized a series of attacks, including attacks from the north, some of which were focused on the capture of the huge coke Avdioka factory, and also from several axes on the south side and the flanks of the city. At the end of the first week of February, the Russian armed forces were able to cut Avdiyoka into two pieces, and after that, simultaneously with continuous artillery attacks and F-bombs. Oh you. They continued their non-advancement.”

While in three days on February 24th, the second anniversary of the implementation of “special military operations” of the Russian army in Ukraine, the author of this article stated that “Volodymyr Zensky”, the president of Ukraine, spent his credit on the city of Avdiyoka and wanted Keep it at all costs. In this regard, he dismissed Valery Zalogeny, the former Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Army, who considered Avdiyoka to be a failed cause. Zalogheny requested that Ukrainian forces withdraw from the current line of contact to more defensible fortifications and better protect Kiev and other important cities.

This analyst further refers to Zelensky’s appointment of “Olexandr Sirsky” as Zalogeny’s successor and writes: “He who was the commander during Zalogeny’s command The Ukrainian ground forces have served, and now they are in control of the entire armed forces of Ukraine. Sirsky is the one whose tactics led to the fall of Bakhmut city and heavy casualties. His tactics made Bakhmut earn the title of meat grinder for Ukrainian soldiers”.

Sirsky immediately called for the deployment of three or four more brigades of troops to rescue Avdiyoka from the fall, but the rescue operation he planned quickly ran into serious trouble. Units of Sirsky’s requested forces were organized and assembled in a small town called Selidav, about 15 kilometers from Avdiyoka. The Russians found out about the operations of the Ukrainian army in Selidav and attacked there with Iskander and cluster missiles.

As several Russian blogger sources wrote in several social networks (Telegram and X), the Russian attack on this city led to the disappearance of an entire brigade of Ukrainian army forces with heavy casualties.

Ukraine claimed in its propaganda that Russia targeted a maternity hospital in Selidav city, but the reality was that Ukraine lost about 1,000 to 15,000 soldiers. Most of the western news sources parroted the narrative line of Ukraine.

Stephen Brien continued his description of the events of the Battle of Avdiyoka and wrote: “Zelensky was on his way to the Munich Security Conference, where he was cheered, and while he was about to leave Kiev, he ordered Sirsky to prevent the capture of Avdiyka by to catch the Russians”.

Sirsky assigned the 3rd brigade of the army to the war on Avdiyoka. This brigade with the official title of “Third Separate Assault Brigade” is actually the “Azov Division” that has been changed. The Azov unit is the backbone of Zelensky’s ultra-nationalist supporters in Ukraine. The Third Brigade is the most obvious military organization to which the term Ukrainian Nazis, a description given by Vladimir Putin, applies. Zelensky’s political power is dependent on the Ukrainian army and especially on extreme nationalists.

Battles on the Eastern Front of Ukraine
Bryan continued this article on the Asia Times base, stating, “This third brigade did not work as advertised; When the military units of this brigade came to Avdioka from the north, they found the situation dire. The third brigade disobeyed the explicit orders of Sirsky and Zelensky and left the city, but above all, Zelensky did not want to be humiliated exactly when he came to the Munich conference and spent more time receiving ammunition there.

A number of units of the 3rd Brigade surrendered to the Russians. This incident forced Sirsky to send a signal to retreat and leave Avdiyoka. The retreat dealt a significant blow to Zelenskyi’s prestige, and apparently angry phone calls from Munich were made to Sirsky at the time, but Sirsky had no choice but to publicly capitulate. Instead, he repeated exactly the same advice as Zalogeni and announced what he called a new strategy.

It is further stated that “the loss of Avdiyoka has put Zelensky in a bad situation”. He has lost his staunchest supporters in the military, humiliated Zalogeny, and replaced him with Sirski, now known as a loser. He has also lost his image with Europeans and probably with America. Zelensky, but against all this, he claims that Ukraine will “definitely” take Avdiyoka back.

The American analyst continues to write: “Washington did not want an agreement with the Russians and has focused all its efforts on inflicting multiple defeats on Russia, putting pressure on the Russians and changing Putin, the leader of this country.” Joe Biden’s team also cannot accept the idea that the Ukrainians could reach an agreement with Russia and weaken this American policy.”

Acknowledging that “most of the major components of Washington’s policy have failed,” Bryan writes, “the massive Western sanctions, however, not only failed to crush the Russian economy, but also set the Russians on a completely new path that included embracing China.” And India and the BRICS bloc can be pushed. American technologies could not change the course of the war in favor of Ukraine.”

Ukrainian soldiers on the eastern front
In this article, it was assessed that Washington and NATO’s policy of not negotiating with the Russians made Russia consider them as its enemies more than before. At the same time, this position expressed by Russia about their lying in the past years about the issue of NATO’s expansionism was confirmed more than ever. While neither the US nor Europe can revive their defense industry base, the Russians did it in order to receive criticism.

At the end of this article, it is concluded: “America and Europe are waiting for the war to end and hundreds of billions of dollars to be spent on the reconstruction of Ukraine, but this is becoming less and less likely compared to their counterparts. The truth is that Zelensky’s regime has weakened. Due to the centralization of military rule in Ukraine, there is no prospect of holding elections and an open political process, but anger is growing among the ranks of the Ukrainian army, and sooner or later the Ukrainian army will have another leader, most likely Zalognyi again. It will be and it will bite”.

Bryan wrote at the end: “Soon we will see a regime change in Kiev”.
