Accordingly, Al-Shibani at the head of a high-ranking delegation including Marhef Abu Qusra, the Minister of Defense, and Anas Khattab, the Minister of Intelligence of the Jolani terrorist regime, have traveled to Saudi Arabia.
The visit of foreign minister of the Jolani regime is his first trip to a foreign country since the fall of Bashar al-Assad’s government and the rise of terrorists to power in Damascus.
Faisal bin Farhan and Asad Al-Shibani discussed the situation in Syria and the expansion of cooperation between Riyadh and Damascus.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia issued a statement and announced: In this meeting, Bin Farhan supported the Saudi Kingdom’s support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria. In this meeting, both sides emphasized the necessity of returning Syria to its true position in the Arab world.
Saudi Arabia supported various rebel and terrorist groups in the early stages of the Syrian unrest that began in 2011 with the aim of overthrowing Bashar al-Assad. However, the emergence of the ISIS terrorist organization and its consequences for international security reduced the process of foreign support for the internal unrest in Syria, but in the last year, it once again Foreign interventionists armed the terrorists and this led to the overthrow of Bashar al-Assad.
