Lebanese Army Denies Israeli Media Claims of Disagreement

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Lebanese Army has released a statement addressing what it describes as fabricated news and media campaigns by the Israeli regime concerning the army’s actions in southern Lebanon. The army asserts these campaigns aim to undermine its standing.

The statement emphasized that Lebanese Army forces are fulfilling their duties in defending the nation’s sovereignty, security, and stability, operating independently of external considerations. The army also noted it receives support from friendly and allied nations.

The Lebanese Army highlighted the timing of these media narratives originating from the Israeli regime, suggesting such actions will not influence its operational capacity to safeguard national security and stability.

Previously, Israeli media circles had claimed that certain Lebanese Army officers opposed the current Israeli withdrawal from southern Lebanon.
