Russia Strikes Ukrainian Energy Infrastructure in Black Sea

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia‘s Ministry of Defense has reported that its forces conducted attacks overnight on four energy infrastructure facilities in the city and region of Odesa. These facilities were instrumental in supporting the operations of Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea. The announcement was made by the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, citing data published by Mehr News Agency via Novosti.

The Russian Ministry of Defense stated, “On the night of September 2, four energy infrastructure facilities that supported the activities of Ukrainian ports in the Black Sea were targeted in Odesa and the Odesa region.”

Furthermore, the statement from Russia’s Ministry of Defense detailed that within the port of Odesa, an unmanned surface vessel production facility, six fuel storage tanks belonging to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and warehouses containing military and technical equipment were also struck.

The Ministry of Defense of Russia also disclosed that on the evening of September 1, a drone attack was carried out against the “Chaika” logistics center in the Kyiv region. This facility is reportedly affiliated with the “Alpha Development Group” company.
