India Urges All Citizens to Leave Pakistan Immediately
Indian Foreign Ministry Advises Citizens to Leave pakistan Amid Rising Tensions in Kashmir
According to a report by the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing sources from the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, India has urged all it’s citizens in Pakistan to leave the country following a terrorist attack on Hindu pilgrims in Kashmir under Indian control. The ministry called on Indian nationals, including pilgrims currently in Pakistan, to depart immediately.
In its statement, the Indian Foreign Ministry noted that due to security concerns raised by the Phelgam terrorist attack, the government has decided to suspend visa services for Pakistani nationals with immediate effect. Additionally, all valid visas previously issued to Pakistani citizens have been revoked as of April 29, 2025.
The advisory further emphasized that medical visas for Pakistani patients are also included in this suspension.The Indian government had declared April 29, 2025, as the deadline.All Pakistani nationals residing in india were required to leave the country before the expiry of this deadline.
In a statement issued at the end of this announcement, strong recommendations were also made to indian citizens to avoid traveling to Pakistan. additionally, Indian nationals currently present in Pakistan were advised to return to India at the earliest.
On Wednesday, Phelgam reported one of the deadliest attacks in recent history in this volatile region, during which 26 pilgrims were killed. Both India and Pakistan claim full sovereignty over Kashmir but only administer parts of it.
The Indian government indirectly held Pakistan responsible for this attack in its reaction. New Delhi has long accused Islamic countries of supporting armed groups in the region and strongly condemned Pakistan for it.

These actions include closing the main border crossing between the two nations, suspending a historic water treaty, expelling diplomats, and issuing an order for certain pakistani passport holders to leave India within 48 hours.
