According to ‌the English section of “Webangah News Agency“, citing Mehr News Agency and Anadolu Agency, Turkey’s ‌Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) announced on Wednesday a relatively strong earthquake in the southern region of the country.

AFAD reported that the quake occurred at‌ 08:36 local time in Muğla at a depth of 14.57 kilometers. The earthquake measured 4.4‌ on the Richter scale. ⁢

This‌ follows last week’s tremor in Istanbul, which caused panic‍ among residents of Turkey’s largest⁢ metropolis.
