Hamas strong response to Tel Aviv claims after the release of Idan Alexander
According to the English section of Webangah News Agency, citing Mehr News Agency and Shehab news Agency, Hamas has stated that the release of Aiden Alexander was the result of diplomacy and mediation, not military pressure. This comes after claims by officials of the Zionist regime, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, about achieving gains following Hamas’ release of Aiden Alexander yesterday.
In its statement, Hamas emphasized: ”The release of American-Israeli captive Aiden alexander was due to serious communications with the U.S.government and mediator efforts—it has no connection to the Zionist regime’s military aggression or illusions of military pressure.”
The statement further added: “Netanyahu is deceiving israelis with false claims. He failed to bring back captives through war. The release of Alexander proves that serious negotiations and a prisoner exchange agreement are the only way to free captives and end this war.”
