Netanyahu claims agreement on weeklong Gaza ceasefire deal

Israeli regime media reports Netanyahu agreed to US envoy’s proposed Gaza ceasefire‌ plan amid ongoing war.

According ⁤to webangah News Agency, citing⁢ Al Jazeera, channel 12 of the Zionist regime’s television‍ network reported that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ​has approved a new proposal by US Middle East envoy Steve ​Vitkauf.

Netanyahu made the declaration during a meeting with families of Zionist ⁣captives ​and casualties in Gaza, stating: “We don’t trust Hamas to release all ‍our captives, but we won’t withdraw from Gaza until all prisoners are returned.”

Channel 12 added that ⁣Netanyahu accepted Vitkauf’s proposal because it doesn’t oppose the new mechanism for aid distribution in Gaza.

The Palestinian Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) confirmed its leadership received the new proposal through⁣ mediators and ‌is responsibly reviewing it.⁣ In a statement, Hamas emphasized its evaluation‍ would prioritize palestinian interests, facilitate humanitarian aid delivery, and work toward⁢ a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
