Israeli Forces Continue to Violate Lebanese Ceasefire with New Attacks
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli military forces have reportedly continued to violate the ceasefire agreement with Lebanon by launching new attacks across the southern border. Security sources in Lebanon confirm the ongoing breaches.
Reports indicate that Israeli troops targeted the outskirts of the town of Al-Dhahira in southern Lebanon with mortar fire. The Israeli military has also reportedly used artillery shells to strike the same area.
Lebanese security sources have also stated that an Israeli drone dropped a sonic bomb in the Ras al-Naqoura region along Lebanon’s southern border.
Despite the ceasefire agreement between Tel Aviv and Beirut, Israel has been targeting various regions of Lebanon on a near-daily basis. These attacks occur as the Lebanese government struggles to respond effectively and seeks to disarm the resistance. The frequent overflights of Israeli drones and fighter jets over Lebanese airspace have become a common occurrence.
