Turkish Companies Participate in Israeli Tender Despite Ankara’s Sanctions

Despite official sanctions imposed by Turkey on the Israeli regime, representatives from three Turkish companies are reportedly present in occupied territories to participate in a major urban transport project tender.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data published by the Mehr News Agency reveals that representatives from three Turkish companies are currently present in occupied territories. This presence was disclosed by the Israeli news outlet ‘i24news’.

The participation of these Turkish companies is part of a visit organized by NTA (Metropolitan Public Transportation) of the Israeli regime. The trip is intended for international companies interested in bidding for the implementation of a significant project. This development occurs despite Turkey‘s prior announcement of sanctions against the Israeli regime.

The three aforementioned Turkish companies are expected to compete with each other for the execution of a metro project in the occupied territories. The official tender process is slated to commence in April. The initial phase of the metro project involves the excavation of 78 kilometers of tunnels and the construction of 59 underground stations.
