Turkey Denounces US Ambassador’s Remarks on Israeli Regional Claims

Turkey has vehemently rejected statements by the U.S. Ambassador to Tel Aviv regarding Israel’s alleged sovereign rights over the entire West Asian region, asserting that Israel holds no such claims on Palestinian or Arab territories.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Omer Celik, spokesperson for Turkey‘s ruling Justice and Development Party, described the remarks by Mike Huckabee, the U.S. Ambassador in Tel Aviv, concerning the Israeli regime’s right to sovereignty over the entire West Asian region as “outrageous” and firmly dismissed them.

Celik emphasized that Israel possesses no rights whatsoever over Palestinian lands or the territories of other Arab nations. He added that such approaches and viewpoints are in complete contradiction with the fundamental norms of international law and humanitarian principles.

These statements were made in response to an interview between the U.S. Ambassador to Tel Aviv and prominent American journalist Tucker Carlson. During this interview, when asked about Israel’s right to dominate all regions between the Nile and the Euphrates rivers based on Torah teachings, Huckabee gave a brief and controversial response, stating, “If they take all of those areas, it will be a good thing.” These unprecedented remarks have generated widespread reactions.
