Drone Attack Targets US Embassy Logistics Base Near Baghdad Airport

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a security official in Iraq, who preferred to remain anonymous, informed Al Jazeera that the logistics support base of the U.S. Embassy, situated near Baghdad‘s airport, was the target of an attack. The official stated that the strike was carried out using a drone.

This development comes shortly after reports indicated that the air defense systems at the U.S. base were activated in response to an attack. The region has been subjected to several drone attacks on multiple occasions in recent days.
