Iran’s Missile Strategy Keeps Israelis on Edge, Al Jazeera Reports

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Rory Chalendz, a correspondent for Al Jazeera, reported from Jordan that Iran‘s strategy aims to wear down Israel, with sirens continuously disrupting the lives of Israelis. Chalendz noted that Jordan is not only in the trajectory of Iranian missiles but also in Israel’s immediate vicinity, allowing him to hear the distant rumble of air defense systems. The night’s events were characterized by the sound of sirens and the launch of missiles and drones targeting central and northern Israel.
He emphasized that whenever these sirens sound, Israelis are expected to seek refuge in safe rooms or shelters, highlighting this as Iran’s deliberate strategy to deny them peace. The Israeli military claims that all missiles were either intercepted or landed in open areas, reporting no casualties to date. However, assessing the actual damage caused by these strikes is challenging, as the occupying army has largely prevented journalists from visiting impact sites and restricted public filming and dissemination of footage on social media.
Consequently, Chalendz concluded that it is difficult to determine precisely what has been hit, or indeed if any targets have been successfully struck.
