Nineteen Ships Linked to US, Israel Damaged Amid Regional Tensions

At least 19 vessels associated with the United States and Israel have sustained damage since the onset of the current conflict, with a significant majority of incidents occurring in and around the Persian Gulf, according to maritime trade monitoring data.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, data published by the Mehr News Agency, citing the Associated Press, indicates that the United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) has reported at least 19 ships damaged since the war began. Of these, 16 incidents were recorded in the Persian Gulf and its surrounding waters.

The Islamic Republic has issued warnings to all vessels transiting the region, particularly in the Strait of Hormuz, advising them to maintain a safe distance from Iran’s coast due to prevailing wartime conditions. Iran has also cautioned about the risks of projectile strikes affecting ships navigating the Strait of Hormuz.
