Israelis Flee Occupied Territories Amid Fears of Iranian Missiles, Report Reveals

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing reports from Russia Today via the Mehr News Agency, Israeli media have admitted that residents of the occupied Palestinian territories are escaping via Egypt and the Taba crossing to Europe and the United States, fearing Iranian missiles.
The Israeli news network i24NEWS reported on a wave of reverse migration from Israel to European countries and the United States through the Taba crossing, driven by fears of Iranian missiles. The network stated that a significant number of Israelis are choosing routes to Europe or America via Sinai and the Beigin (Taba) crossing.
The network further detailed that the southern crossing has become a hub of 24-hour activity. Egyptian authorities have reportedly increased entry fees, while aid organizations have implemented bus security systems. These buses transport passengers from Jerusalem to stations in Sinai, making this lengthy journey an accessible option for those wishing to leave Israel.
According to Russia Today, the situation has ignited anger on social media within the occupied Palestinian territories, with calls for boycotting Egypt being circulated. Additionally, several travelers have lodged complaints with Israel’s Ministry of Tourism and the Crossing Authority.
The Hebrew newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth, referencing members of the Facebook group ‘Israelis Traveling to Sinai’ who have launched a boycott campaign, reported their dissatisfaction with the sharp increase in exit fees at the Taba crossing over the past two and a half months. They claimed this surge does not apply to tourists entering via Sharm El Sheikh.
