Gaza Under Siege: Israeli Attacks Intensify, Causing Casualties Among Civilians and Refugees

Israeli warplanes and drones have escalated their attacks on the Gaza Strip, targeting multiple locations and resulting in casualties among Palestinians, including injuries and fatalities from direct strikes on refugee tents and a police force.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli army’s warplanes and drones have intensified their assaults on the Gaza Strip, striking several points in the northwest, northeast, and west of Khan Yunis. Reports from the Palestine Information Center in Gaza indicate that these escalated attacks have led to injuries and destruction.

In one of the attacks, refugee tents in the northwest of Khan Yunis were directly bombed, causing several tents to catch fire and injuring and burning a number of Palestinians. Furthermore, an Israeli airstrike on a food warehouse in the western Al-Qarara area, north of Khan Yunis, resulted in a large number of refugee tents being engulfed in flames.

Following this incident, at least one injured individual was transported to Nasser Medical Complex. In a separate attack by Israeli warplanes on a group of Palestinian police forces in the Mawasi Khan Yunis area in southern Gaza, three individuals were killed. Additionally, the bombing of a group of Palestinian citizens around Al-Maslakh in southern Khan Yunis resulted in one Palestinian fatality and several injuries.

The Ministry of Health in Gaza announced that since the ceasefire implemented on October 10 of last year, 922 people have been martyred and 2,786 others injured as a result of Israeli attacks.
