Pakistani Sources Claim Potential Iran-U.S. Agreement on Strait of Hormuz Demining

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, while officials from Iran and the United States have yet to comment on any potential agreement, some Pakistani sources have claimed that “Iran and the United States have chosen Islamabad to sign a memorandum of understanding.”
Based on this assertion, Iran is expected to demine the Strait of Hormuz within 30 days. The report further claims that the White House has confirmed this agreement, with CBS asserting that the deal has been finalized. Details of this purported agreement are expected to be released through further briefing sessions.
The Pakistani media outlet continued to claim that “This agreement, which extends a 60-day ceasefire between the United States and Iran and initiates nuclear negotiations, has not yet been confirmed by Donald Trump, the President of the United States.” The report from ‘Right-Now’ suggests that this agreement also proposes the commencement of official negotiations regarding Iran’s nuclear program, which is anticipated to restore stability to the region.
