Syrian Residents Protest Turkish Military Base Encroachments in Aleppo

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, residents in the Jabal Aqil region, located in the Aleppo countryside in northern Syria, held widespread demonstrations and gatherings for the seventh consecutive week to express their objection to the encroachments of a Turkish base in the area. These reports are based on information published by the Mehr News Agency, citing RT.
The residents stated that officials at the aforementioned base have been confiscating Syrian land and homes since 2017 to build and expand the base upon the ruins of these properties. The Syrian protesters emphasized that the Turkish military base must be removed from their land, asserting that the continuation of this situation constitutes a violation of their civil rights.
These demonstrators further clarified that they have lost their homes and lands since the construction of the Turkish military base in the region began in 2017. Over time, they have become increasingly determined to reclaim their rights.
