Russia: US Failure Against Iran Marks Washington’s Defeat, Diplomatic Path Essential

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Georgy Borisenko announced on Monday that Moscow hopes discussions between the United States and Iran will continue towards reaching a final agreement, deeming the preservation of political and diplomatic processes essential.
Borisenko further elaborated that the United States’ influence is diminishing in a multipolar world, a trend he believes is evident in the confrontation with Iran. He asserted that the US was unable to prevail over Iran, which signifies Washington’s defeat. The deputy minister contended that through its engagement with Iran, the United States revealed its weakness to the world rather than its strength.
The Russian official also noted that Russian forces are present in Syria at the invitation of Syrian officials, and that the new authorities in that country have affirmed their desire for the continued presence of these forces.
