Israeli Security Sources Admit Hezbollah Drones Evade Air Defense Systems

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Israeli security sources have admitted that the Israeli military has deployed multiple systems to counter Hezbollah‘s drones, but none have achieved complete, 100 percent success. This admission, as reported by the Hebrew-language website Walla and subsequently cited by the Mehr News Agency, highlights ongoing challenges for the Israeli defense apparatus.
The report suggests that while this situation is not ideal, it is considered better than having no defense at all. Walla further reported that Israel has resorted to employing smart and laser systems in its efforts to combat Hezbollah’s unmanned aerial vehicles.
Recent escalations in southern Lebanon have demonstrated that Hezbollah has not only preserved a significant portion of its military and operational strength following recent conflicts but has also achieved a level of innovation and tactical adaptation in certain domains. This progress has led to serious apprehension among the commanders of the Israeli military. The Israeli newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth reported on overnight drone attacks and acknowledged the deaths of two Israeli soldiers in these incidents, indicating a deepening shift in the power balance between the Lebanese resistance and the Israeli army.
