According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, a maritime security incident has been reported off the coast of Oman. The UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) announced on Thursday that a security incident took place 21 nautical miles northeast of Sohar, Oman.
Local authorities have reported that a tanker experienced a fire in its engine room. The UKMTO stated that officials are currently investigating the incident. Further details have not yet been released.
