Strait of Hormuz Closed Amid Security Concerns Following U.S. Military Actions

The Strait of Hormuz has been completely closed to all vessel traffic due to security concerns stemming from alleged U.S. military aggression in the region. The closure impacts both oil tankers and commercial ships, with warnings issued against approaching the strategic waterway.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Hazrat Khatam al-Anbiya (PBUH) Central Headquarters issued a statement emphasizing that the Strait of Hormuz is now closed to all types of vessels, including oil tankers and commercial ships, effective immediately. This decision was made due to security risks arising from what was described as continued malicious acts by the “criminal” United States and the commencement of attacks by its “invading army” on southern areas of Hormozgan Province. The statement warned that any attempt at passage would be met with hostile action and explicitly denied U.S. claims of vessels transiting the strait.

Concurrently, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy announced that the Strait of Hormuz would remain blocked until further notice following repeated violations of ceasefire terms by the “American enemy.” The IRGC Navy cautioned all vessels to refrain from departing their anchorages in the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman, stating that approaching the Strait of Hormuz would be considered cooperation with the enemy.
