Netanyahu Discusses Iran Deal Draft with U.S. President Trump

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office confirmed a phone call with U.S. President Donald Trump, during which they discussed a draft framework for potential talks with Iran. Trump claimed a deal is nearing finalization.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency,

The office of Benjamin Netanyahu, the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, announced a phone conversation between Netanyahu and U.S. President Donald Trump. The call, reported by Al Jazeera via Mehr News Agency, focused on a draft agreement being prepared for discussions with Iran.

Netanyahu’s office stated that Trump consulted with him regarding the preliminary understanding for engaging with Iran. The statement claimed, “Although we are not a party to this memorandum of understanding, Netanyahu has appreciated President Trump’s commitment to include the removal of enriched materials, the dismantling of enrichment facilities, the restriction of missile production, and the cessation of Iran’s support for its proxy forces in the region.”

The U.S. President had previously asserted that an agreement with Iran was on the verge of being finalized and would soon be signed in a European country.
