US Official: Iran-US Agreement to Include Lebanon

A high-ranking American official has disclosed that a draft agreement between Iran and the United States aimed at ending regional conflict will reportedly encompass Lebanon. This potential accord is also said to involve Israel and Persian Gulf states.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, citing a report by Agence France-Presse based on information from a senior U.S. official, a preliminary agreement between Iran and the United States to end the war in the region will also include Lebanon. The official, speaking during a telephone briefing with reporters, stated that this accord would extend to Lebanon, Iran, the Israeli regime, and the countries of the Persian Gulf. Earlier, Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had announced that an agreed-upon text had been reached between Iran and the United States. Sharif indicated that Pakistan is currently collaborating with both parties to finalize the subsequent stages, asserting that peace has never been closer. These statements emerge amid ongoing contradictory and ambiguous remarks from American officials concerning an agreement with Iran.
