Israeli Settlement Leader: Israel Has Lost Deterrent Power

The head of the northern Israeli settlement of Metulla has criticized Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stating that Israel has lost its deterrent power against Hezbollah, while daily life in Beirut’s southern suburbs continues normally.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, quoting the Palestinian Information Center, David Azulai, head of the Metulla settlement council in northern occupied Palestine, sharply criticized the performance of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, the Minister of War, and the spokesperson for the Israeli army. Without regard for Israeli attacks on various regions of Lebanon, he pointed to the reactions of the Lebanese Hezbollah movement against Israeli settlements, claiming that all red lines were once again crossed last night and this morning.

Referring to the interception of 12 Hezbollah missile operations, he stated: “Despite this volume of threats, officials remain silent.”

Azulai, disregarding the killing of Lebanese women and children by the Israeli army, added that Israeli children wake up in fear and flee to shelters and safe areas, while life in Beirut’s southern suburbs continues as usual.

The head of the Metulla settlement council described this situation as a sign of the loss of Israeli deterrence against United States President Donald Trump and Hezbollah, saying: “In speeches and statements, you are the hero of the world, but in practice, you are at the lowest level.”
