Global Leaders Welcome US-Iran Deal as Diplomatic Milestone

International leaders from Germany, Japan, Turkey, and Australia have expressed their support for a significant diplomatic agreement reached between the United States and Iran, hailing it as a key achievement for regional and global stability.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, international reactions have been largely positive following the announcement of a diplomatic accord between the United States and Iran. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz stated, “I welcome the agreement between the United States and Iran, which is an important diplomatic achievement. This agreement paves the way for a more dynamic global economy and a more secure Middle East, and its implementation is important with determination and perseverance.”

Japan’s Prime Minister conveyed, “We welcome the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran aimed at ending hostilities.”

Turkish Minister of Foreign Affairs emphasized, “We welcome the agreement between the United States and Iran and consider it a step towards lasting peace in the region.”

In a joint statement, the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Australia announced, “We welcome the agreement between the United States and Iran. Australia has consistently called for de-escalation and an end to conflict, including in Lebanon. We are pleased that the agreement between Washington and Tehran includes steps to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.”
