Former Lebanese President: Iran-US Agreement Solidifies Tehran’s Victory, Paves Way for Lebanon’s Crisis Resolution

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, based on data published by Mehr News Agency, citing Al Mayadeen network, Emile Lahoud, former President of Lebanon, announced that the agreement between Iran and the United States signifies the consolidation of Tehran’s victory and can pave the way for resolving Lebanon’s crises.

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun, in response to Iran and the United States reaching a memorandum of understanding, expressed gratitude to all those who endeavored to include Lebanon in current efforts to end tension and halt military actions on various fronts.

He stated that he has been following with interest and precision the announcement of the understanding reached by the United States and Iran, which emphasizes the cessation of military activities and tension in the region, including Lebanon.

In this regard, Aoun appreciated the respect for Lebanon’s unique position and characteristics as stated in this memorandum of understanding, declaring that Lebanon’s stability and security are an integral part of any serious effort to consolidate stability in the region.
