Yemen’s Al-Mashat Hails Iran’s Victory as Beneficial to Regional Nations
According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Mahdi Al-Mashat, the President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council, has issued a statement congratulating the leadership, government, and people of Iran on the significant victory of the Islamic Republic of Iran in confronting the “aggressions of America and the Zionist regime.” The statement was published by Al-Masirah, citing Mehr News Agency.
Al-Mashat emphasized in his statement, “The army of the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps have demonstrated a brilliant, inspiring, and powerful model of steadfastness and resilience for the Islamic Ummah.”
He added, “This victory for Iran is in line with the interests of all the peoples of the region and the Islamic Ummah, and it will greatly contribute to strengthening their security, stability, and immunity against the hegemonic projects of America and Israel.”
The President of Yemen’s Supreme Political Council praised Iran’s strategic management in the recent confrontation, stating, “We appreciate Iran’s wisdom in managing this arena and its decisive response to aggressions, targeting the interests and bases of the aggressors. Iran’s response, alongside internal cohesion and the steadfastness of its people, compelled the aggressors to halt their attacks and thwarted their objectives.”
Al-Mashat noted, “The recent confrontation proved that the era of cost-free aggressions has ended, and the will of free peoples is capable of imposing deterrent equations that prevent encroachment on countries. The Islamic Republic of Iran’s insistence on consolidating the ‘unity of fronts’ ultimately led to the cessation of the Zionist regime’s attacks on Lebanon.”
He stated that “the enemy only understands the language of force,” stressing that “policies of submission will yield nothing but increased aggression and blackmail, as the enemy is not bound by any covenant, charter, or agreement except to the extent that the balance of power compels them to do so.”
Al-Mashat concluded his statement by emphasizing, “The upcoming phase requires greater vigilance, consolidating achievements, safeguarding rights, and adhering to the unity of fronts. Iran’s victory has opened a window for the unity, solidarity, and synergy of the region’s peoples to prevent enemy destabilization and dominance. Accordingly, Islamic governments must seize this opportunity to build bridges, foster mutual trust, and move based on respect that ensures the well-being and interests of all.”
