Wall Street Journal Claims Iran Oil Exports to Resume Post-US Deal

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, The Wall Street Journal has claimed that an understanding between Iran and the United States will permit Tehran to resume oil sales immediately after its signing. The newspaper reported that the issuance of sanctions waivers for Iran’s oil sales would also encompass areas such as banking, transportation, and insurance concerning the facilitation of Iran’s oil exports.
This claim from the newspaper, reportedly close to the conservative faction, comes as some analysts suggest the administration of Donald Trump might circumvent the practical benefits for Iran from this understanding by implementing obstructions, similar to the lifting of JCPOA sanctions during Barack Obama’s tenure, by only removing sanctions on paper. This claim is being made while Iran was exporting its oil without any issues before the commencement of the U.S. maritime blockade.
