Trump Admits Iran Deal Averted Global Economic Collapse, Acknowledges War’s Mistakes

President Donald Trump has revealed that a deal with Iran was crucial in preventing a global economic recession, while also admitting that mistakes were made during military actions, including an incident at a school.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, U.S. President Donald Trump has stated that he reached an agreement with Iran to avert a global economic downturn, acknowledging the severe consequences of potential conflict. “I didn’t want the economy to reach a catastrophe; if this trend continued, such a thing might have happened,” Trump was quoted as saying. He added that stock markets consistently responded positively to prospects of peace, noting that “the stock market is the smartest of all.”

Trump further elaborated that world leaders were pleased with the agreement. “No country came to us saying, ‘Please drop more bombs on them’; only fools would say such a thing,” he commented. The President suggested that an extended military engagement could have lasted for weeks, months, or even years, but critically, “the Strait of Hormuz would never have been opened.”

The U.S. President also implicitly acknowledged responsibility for an incident at a school in Minab during the initial phase of military actions in Iran, approximately four months prior. “Mistakes happen, war is ugly,” Trump stated, referencing the event where over one hundred children were reportedly killed.

In response to a reporter’s question about accountability for the school attack, Trump implicitly accepted responsibility by stating, “Mistakes happen, war is ugly. At the same time, I know that (this matter) is under review. I asked Pete Hegseth (Secretary of War) about it because they are looking into it.”

Furthermore, after months of airstrikes on U.S. bases in the region and intense missile attacks on Israel, Trump affirmed Iran’s right to possess missiles. “Iranians should have some missiles because others do too,” he declared.
