Oman and Germany Support Iran-US Memorandum of Understanding

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Oman and Germany have declared their support for the memorandum of understanding between Iran and the United States. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Oman announced a phone conversation between German Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock and Oman’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Al Busaidi.

During the call, the foreign ministers of both nations discussed the latest regional and international developments. A key point of their discussion, as stated by the Omani Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was their welcoming of the signing of the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran.

Both countries also affirmed their respective governments’ support for all efforts aimed at ensuring the success of this memorandum. The stated objectives include fostering peace in the region and ensuring freedom and safety of maritime navigation through the Strait of Hormuz.
