Russia Claims Destruction of 740 Ukrainian Drones in 24 Hours

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, Russia’s Ministry of Defense announced on Saturday that its air defense systems successfully intercepted and destroyed 740 Ukrainian drones, two HIMARS missiles, and 13 guided aerial bombs within the last 24 hours. The ministry stated, as reported by the Mehr News Agency via Russia’s RIA Novosti, that fuel and energy facilities, as well as transportation infrastructure utilized by the Ukrainian armed forces, were also targeted.

Despite numerous negotiations and temporary ceasefires, the conflict between Ukraine and Russia persists. The failure to achieve peace talks and the continuation of the war represent a significant setback for U.S. President Donald Trump, who had pledged to end the war early in his presidency.
