Israeli Media: Tel Aviv Fails to Separate Lebanon from Iran in Strategic Push

Israeli media outlets reported on Saturday that Tel Aviv’s efforts to decouple developments in Lebanon from Iran’s agenda have been unsuccessful, with Iran reportedly succeeding in creating distance between Israel and the United States.

According to the International Desk of Webangah News Agency, the Israeli regime’s Channel 15 reported on Saturday that Tel Aviv attempted to isolate the trajectory of events in Lebanon from the Iranian dossier but ultimately failed in this objective.

The Israeli network further elaborated that Iran has managed to distance the Israeli regime from the United States.

This development comes as the Prime Minister and Minister of War of the Israeli regime issued orders hours earlier to halt military operations in Lebanon.

Israeli Channel 12 announced that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Minister of War Yisrael Katz instructed the army to establish a ceasefire in southern Lebanon, without withdrawing from areas under its control.

Separately, Walla, quoting an Israeli military source, stated that the Chief of Staff of the regime’s army issued directives for a ceasefire in southern Lebanon at the conclusion of a meeting to assess the security situation.
